GM Classics & Chevy 2 Only Newsletters

February Edition
28 February, 2013

Dear GM & Nova Enthusiast,

Happy belated Valentine's Day!

We have three shows in 2013 down already! The two shows in Nashville, TN were packed even with inclement weather. The 50th anniversary Carl Casper show is now history, hard to believe this show is that old! An estimated 1,000 cars were on display at that show in Louisville, KY. We were set up in the North Wing of the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center under the V.V. Cooke Chevy dealership display for the second year in a row. We were able to make many new friends and contacts at all of these shows; it was a great time!

We used to think Carl Casper was just a common name around the Louisville area until we started to notice just how famous he really is. A comparison might be made of Carl Casper's fame and the fame of George Barris. Carl Casper has built many custom hot rods over the years and is known around the world. Looking back I think I have been to at least 40 of the Carl Casper shows in Louisville over their 50 year history - a pretty decent record!

Next up is the large KYANA swap meet with over 1,000 spaces indoors! Get your orders in early because our space is limited.

Also, we have released our 2013 events calendar so you can stay informed on what shows we are going to and where you can find us.

Continuing our Winter Special we are offering 10% off all in stock radiators!  Use code 8675309 when calling or ordering online. Sale ends March 31st, 2013. Better hurry; spring is almost here!

Ross Muller's Featured Nova

Ross Muller's `62 4-Door Sedan

I purchased this car from a friend in the late 80's and my original intention was to use it in a Historic Motor Racing category that we have here in Australia. My friend had already started building another Nova as a race car so we thought we would start a 2 car team. I went to inspect the car and while it looked a little rough I thought it would be suitable for its intended purpose. We finally settled on a price, bearing in mind that these cars were and still are quite rare in Australia, and $2,000 changed hands... Read more on Ross Muller's Featured Nova Page.
